ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Novel antitumor substances are prepared by culturing a micro- organism, Acinetobacter calcoaceticus,in a suitable medium and then isolating the substance having antitumor activity from the resulting culture broth. These substances have potent antitumor activity as well as immunostimulatory activity and are effective in a very small amount without harmfull effects, e.g., toxicity.
