ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Compounds of formula (I): Image (I) [wherein: R1 is a cyclic amino group, or a dialkylamino group; R2 is a group of formula -NHCHR3R4, wherein R3 and R4 are each alkyl, aryl or aralkyl, or together form a cycloalkyl group, or R2 is an aromatic heterocyclic group, or a group of formula -B-S(O)m-R5, wherein R5 is a substituted alkyl group, or an aromatic heterocyclic group; B is an alkylene or alkylidene group; m is 0, 1 or 2; A is a group of formula -CH=CH- or -(CH2)n-, where n is 1, 2 or 3]; and salts thereof have valuable anti-ulcer activity.
