Abstract Title: Antiarrhythmic Agents A cardiac antiarrhythmic agent of the formula:- Image --- (I) or a pharmaceutically-acceptable salt thereof; wherein R is R3SO2NH-, R3CONH- or R1R2NSO2-; R1 and R2 are each independently H or C1-C4 alkyl; R3 is C1-C4 alkyl, C3-C7 cycloalkyl or -NR1R2 where R1 and R2 are as defined above; and Het is either (a) a 2-, 3- or 4-pyridyl group optionally substituted by a C1-C4 alkyl or an amino group, or (b) a 2-imidazolyl group optionally substituted by one or two C1-C4 alkyl groups.
