An antibiotic coating of implants is described, which is characterised in that the coating consists of at least one saturated, organic, hydrophobic, low molecular matrix former whose melting point is in the temperature range of 45°C to 100°C, in which a low molecular, hydrophobic addi- tive is dissolved and that an antibiotic/antibiotics is/are suspended in the mixture of matrix for- mer and additive and/or in which an antibiotic/antibiotics miscible with a mixture of matrix former and additive is/are dissolved.

L'invention décrit un revêtement antibiotique d'implants, qui présente les caractéristiques suivantes : le revêtement comprend au moins un formateur de matrice saturé, organique, hydrophobe, de faible poids moléculaire ayant un point de fusion entre 45 °C et 100 °C, dans lequel un additif hydrophobe de faible poids moléculaire est dissous; au moins un antibiotique est mis en suspension dans le mélange et/ou au moins un antibiotique miscible avec le mélange est dissous.
