An antibiotic cocktail for sterilizing tissue comprising amphotericin B and fluconazole as antifungal agents and a plurality of antibacterial agents. The agents are present in amounts effective to substantially inhibit fungal and bacterial growth while substantially maintaining the viability of the tissue. Also, a method of sterilizing a tissue comprising contacting the tissue with the antibiotic cocktails of the invention at a temperature and for a period of time effective to substantially inhibit fungal and bacterial growth while substantially maintaining the viability of the tissue.
L'invention concerne un cocktail d'antibiotiques servant à stériliser un tissu, qui contient de l'amphotéricine B et du fluconazole comme agents antifongiques et une pluralité d'agents antibactériens. Ces agents sont présents en quantités suffisantes pour inhiber sensiblement la croissance de champignons et de bactéries tout en maintenant sensiblement la viabilité dudit tissu. L'invention se rapporte également à un procédé de stérilisation d'un tissu qui consiste à mettre en contact le tissu avec les cocktails antibiotiques de la présente invention à une température et pendant une durée suffisantes pour inhiber sensiblement la croissance de champignons et de bactéries tout en maintenant sensiblement la viabilité dudit tissu.
