An objective of the present invention is to provide a cefditoren pivoxil pharmaceutical preparation which can safely be administered to a patient and not only improves wettability of cefditoren pivoxil, but also further improves absorbability through the intestinal tracts by maintaining amorphous particles having a high oral absorbability in a liquid for a long period of time. The present invention is a pharmaceutical composition comprising amorphous cefditoren pivoxil and a sucrose ester fatty acid, which is obtainable by mixing or wet-granulating particles containing amorphous cefditoren pivoxil with the sucrose ester fatty acid while amorphous cefditoren pivoxil maintains its particle state.
On peut administrer, de manière sûre, des substances pharmaceutiques à base de cefditoren pivoxil à des patients, ces compositions permettant non seulement d'améliorer la mouillabilité du cefditoren pivoxil mais également de retenir des particules amorphes à absorptivité orale élevée dans un liquide pendant une durée prolongée, ce qui permet d'obtenir une amélioration de l'absorptivité dans le tractus gastro-intestinal. L'invention concerne, en particulier, une composition médicinale comprenant du cefditoren pivoxil amorphe et un ester d'acide gras de saccharose produit par mélange ou granulation humide des particules contenant le cefditoren pivoxil amorphe tout en conservant l'état particulaire et un ester d'acide gras de saccharose.
