52 ABSTRACT The present invention relates to novel antifungal antibiotics of formula: X-Asn-Ser-Pro-Asn-Tyr-Asn-Gln where X is an .alpha.-amino-fatty acid. Two components HUT57A and B of the present antibiotics were isolated from the culture of Bacillus licheniformis UTK. These are novel substances and are effective as a antifungal not only to human and animals but also for agricultural and horticultural use.
