An antibody binding to IL- 17 characterized by binding to the same IL- 17 epitope to which monoclonal antibody 3C1 binds, and being of human IgG1 isotype modified in the hinge region at amino acid position 216-240, preferably at amino acid position 220-240, between C H1 and C H2 and/or in the second inter-domain region at amino acid position 327-331 between C H2 and C H3 has advantageous properties for the treatment of inflammatory diseases.

L'invention concerne un anticorps se liant à IL-17 se caractérisant par la liaison au même épitope IL-17 auquel l'anticorps monoclonal 3C1 se lie, et étant d'un isotype IgG1 humain modifié dans la région charnière à la position d'acide aminé 216-240, de préférence à la position d'acide aminé 220-240, entre  CH1 et CH2 et/ou dans la seconde région inter-domaine à la position d'acide aminé 327-331 entre CH2 et CH3, il possède des propriétés avantageuses en matière de traitement de maladies inflammatoires.
