An antibody binding to IGF-IR, being of human IgG1 or IgG3 type and being glycosylated with a sugar chain at Asn297, said antibody being characterized in that the amount of fucose within said sugar chain is at least 99%, and in addition the amount of NGNA is 1% or less and/ or the amount of N-terminal alpha-1,3- galactose is 1% or less has improved properties in antitumor therapy.
L'invention concerne un anticorps qui se lie à l'IGF-IR, qui est du type de l'IgG1 ou l'IgG3 humaine et qui est glycosylé avec une chaîne sucre au niveau de l'Asn297, ledit anticorps étant caractérisé en ce que la quantité de fucose dans ladite chaîne sucre est au moins égale à 99% et en ce que, en outre, la quantité de NGNA est inférieure ou égale à 1% et/ou la quantité d'alpha-1,3-galactose N-terminal est inférieure ou égale à 1%, et présentant des propriétés améliorées dans la thérapie antitumorale.
