The present invention relates to a method for producing an antibody, to an antibody specifically reacting with plasma cells, to genes which encode such antibodies, to antigens which are labeled by such an antibody, to additional antibodies directed against said antigens and to methods for producing said antibodies and to uses of such antibodies. In addition, the present invention relates to single-chain multifunctional polypeptides comprising (a) a first domain comprising a binding site of the antibodies defined herein and (b) a second domain comprising a binding site of an immunoglobulin chain or an antibody specifically recognizing the CD3 antigen. Furthermore, compositions and kits comprising the compounds of the invention are disclosed. Preferably said compositions are pharmaceutical or diagnostic compositions.

L'invention a trait à un procédé de production d'un anticorps, à un anticorps réagissant spécifiquement avec des cellules plasmatiques, à des gènes codant pour ces anticorps, à des antigènes marqués par cet anticorps, à des anticorps supplémentaires dirigés contre lesdits antigènes, à des procédés de production de ces anticorps et à des utilisations de ces anticorps. De plus, l'invention concerne des polypeptides multifonctionnels monocaténaires comprenant : (a) un premier domaine contenant un site de liaison aux anticorps définis ; et (b) un deuxième domaine contenant un site de liaison à une chaîne d'immunoglobulines ou un anticorps reconnaissant spécifiquement l'antigène CD3. L'invention concerne en outre des compositions et des trousses contenant les composés de l'invention. De préférence, les compositions sont des compositions pharmaceutiques ou diagnostiques.
