The present invention relates to antibodies and related molecules that specifically bind to TL5. Such antibodies have uses, for example, in the prevention and treatment of cancer as well as immune system diseases and disorders including autoimmune disease, rheumatoid arthritis, graft rejection, graft vs. host disease, and lymphadenopathy. The invention also relates to nucleic acid molecules encoding anti~TL5 antibodies, vectors and host cells containing these nucleic acids, and methods for producing the same. The present invention relates to methods and compositions for preventing, detecting, diagnosing, treating or ameliorating a disease or disorder, especially cancer as well as immune system diseases and disorders including autoimmune disease, rheumatoid arthritis, graft rejection, graft vs. host disease, and lymphadenopathy, comprising administering to an animal, preferably a human, an effective amount of one or more antibodies or fragments or variants thereof, or related molecules, that specifically bind to TL5.

L'invention concerne des anticorps et des molécules connexes qui se lient spécifiquement au TL5. Ces anticorps sont utiles, par exemple, pour la prévention et le traitement du cancer ainsi que des maladies et des troubles du système immunitaire, à savoir la maladie autoimmune, la polyarthrite rhumatoïde, le rejet du greffon, la réaction du greffon contre l'hôte, et l'adénopathie. L'invention concerne également des molécules d'acides nucléiques codant les anticorps anti-TL5, des vecteurs et des cellules hôtes renfermant ces acides nucléiques, et des procédés d'élaboration correspondants. L'invention concerne en outre des procédés et des compositions pour la prévention, le dépistage, le diagnostic, le traitement ou l'atténuation d'une maladie ou d'un trouble, en particulier le cancer, et aussi de maladies et de troubles du système immunitaire, à savoir la maladie autoimmune, la polyarthrite rhumatoïde, le rejet du greffon, la réaction du greffon contre l'hôte, et l'adénopathie. A cet effet, on administre à un animal, de préférence un humain, une quantité efficace d'un ou plusieurs anticorps, ou de fragments ou variants correspondants, ou bien de molécules connexes, qui se lient spécifiquement au TL5.
