Immune antigens containing antigen peptides specific for Norwalk virus which are selected from the amino acid sequences represented by SEQ ID NOS:1 to 4, etc. and a Norwalk virus-specific antibody against these immune antigens are constructed. By detecting a virus with the use of this virus-specific antibody, Norwalk virus can be conveniently and accurately detected.
