Antibodies to intracellular domains of two or more kinds of protein tyrosine phosphatases, methods for generation thereof and cells producing these antibodies are disclosed. The antibody of the present invention may have specificity to intracellular domains of phosphatase subunits of both of LAR and CD45, and may be useful for analysis and quantitative determination of PTPs, identification and detection of novel PTPs, and for obtaining novel phosphatases by cloning and the like, as well as for developing useful diagnostic methods of insulin resistance and NIDDM, for prophylaxis and diagnosis of various disease states of syndrome X that is based on insulin resistance, and for prophylaxis and diagnosis of onsets of arteriosclerosis and cardiac diseases.
L'invention porte sur un anticorps spécifique des domaines intracellulaires d'au moins deux tyrosinephosphatases, sur leur procédé de préparation, et sur les cellules produisant ledit anticorps. Cet anticorps qui présente des spécificités vis à vis des domaines intracellulaires des sous-unités LAR et CD45 de la phosphatase sert à analyser et quantifier les PTP, à identifier et détecter un nouveau PTP, à obtenir par clonage une nouvelle phosphatase, etc. L'invention porte également sur la mise au point d'un procédé de diagnostic utile dans les cas de résistance à l'insuline et de diabète de type II, et pour prévenir, traiter et diagnostiquer différents symptômes du syndrome X basé sur la résistance à l'insuline, et prévenir, traiter et diagnostiquer l'apparition de l'artériosclérose et des maladies cardiaques.
