It is intended to provide an antibody showing a selective immunoreactivity for ADAMTS-13 and employ this antibody in epitope analysis or diagnosis of an ADAMTS-13 autoantibody-positive patient. Moreover, it is intended to provide a process for producing a modified ADAMTS-13 molecule having a partial deletion aiming at the application thereof to drugs and use thereof. Namely, an antibody specific for ADAMTS-13 which can be obtained from a warm-blooded animal immunologically sensitized with a polypeptide containing the whole ADAMTS-13 amino acid sequence or a part thereof; a process for producing an antibody involving the step of immunologically sensitizing a warm-blooded animal with a polypeptide containing the whole ADAMTS-13 amino acid sequence or a part thereof; use of the above-described antibody involving a method of detecting ADAMTS-13 and a purification method; and a modified ADAMTS-13 molecule having a partial deletion.
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant d'obtenir un anticorps présentant une immunoréactivité sélective pour ADAMTS-13 et d'utiliser cet anticorps lors d'une analyse ou d'un diagnostic épitope sur un patient présentant l'autoanticorps ADAMTS-13. En outre, L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de produire une molécule ADAMTS-13 modifiée présentant une délétion partielle destinée à l'application de cette molécule à des médicaments et à leur utilisation. Cette invention concerne un anticorps propre à ADAMTS-13 pouvant être obtenu sur un animal à sang chaud immunologiquement sensibilisé avec un polypeptide contenant l'ensemble de la séquence d'acides aminés ADAMTS-13 ou une partie de celle-ci. L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'anticorps comprenant l'étape consistant à sensibiliser immunologiquement un animal à sang chaud avec un polypeptide contenant l'ensemble de la séquence d'acides aminés ADAMTS-13 ou une partie de celle-ci. L'invention concerne également l'utilisation dudit anticorps impliquant un procédé de détection de ADAMTS-13 et un procédé de purification. En outre, l'invention concerne une molécule ADAMTS-13 modifiée présentant une délétion partielle.
