An ameliorating agent for the stability of mammalian endogenous ligand in the blood, comprising an antibody having affinity with mammalian endogenous ligand and substantially not neutralizing the same; and preparations thereof for the prevention and treatment of diseases in accomplishment of which it is effective to increase the concentration of endogenous ligand in the blood and/or prolong the half life period thereof in the blood. When the preparations alone without being combined with a compound identical with or substantially identical with the endogenous ligand are administered to a mammal, the stability of endogenous ligand in the blood would be enhanced to thereby reinforce the receptor activity regulating action thereof.

Agent d'amélioration de la stabilité d'un ligand endogène de mammifère dans le sang, comprenant un anticorps ayant une affinité avec le ligand endogène de mammifère et ne neutralisant pratiquement pas celui-ci ; et préparations de celui-ci pour la prévention et le traitement de maladies grâce auxquelles il est efficace d'augmenter la concentration de ligand endogène dans le sang et/ou de prolonger la durée de demi-vie de celui-ci dans le sang. Lorsqu'on administre à un mammifère les préparations seules sans les combiner à un composé identique ou pratiquement identique au ligand endogène, la stabilité du ligand endogène dans le sang est accrue pour renforcer de cette manière l'activité de récepteur régulant l'action de celui-ci.
