-1- Abstract The present invention is directed to a monoclonal antibody specifically reactive to hamster immunoglobulins, a hybridoma producing said monoclonal antibody, and an immunoassay utilizing said monoclonal antibody. The monoclonal antibody is useful in an immunoassay as a secondary antibody to a hamster-derived primary antibody or antiserum raised against various antigens.
