A drug for cancer treatment enhanced in efficacy and safety. There is provided a drug for cancer treatment comprised of a composition containing .alpha.,.alpha.,.alpha.-trifluorothymidine (FTD) and 5-chloro-6-(1-(2- iminopyrrolidinyl)methyl)uracil hydrochloride in a molar ratio of 1:0.5. The drug for cancer treatment is orally administered in a dosage of 20 to 80 mg/m2/day in terms of FTD, the dosage divided and given two to four times each day.

La présente invention décrit notamment un médicament destiné au traitement de cancers qui comprend une préparation contenant de la .alpha.,.alpha.,.alpha.-trifluorothymidine (FTD) et du chlorhydrate de 5-chloro-6-(1-(2-iminopyrrolidinyl)méthyl)uracile dans un rapport molaire de 1:0,5. Le médicament destiné au traitement de cancers est administré par voie orale à raison de 20 à 80 mg/m2/jour de FTD, cette dose étant divisée et administrée quotidiennement en deux à quatre fois.
