A method of reading multiple RFID tags (10) located in a field of an interrogating antenna (26) is based on periodic transmissions from the tags with large, non-transmission intervals between transmissions. The non-transmission intervals are fixed for a given tag, but are random between tags, preferably due to manufacturing tolerances in electrical components from which the tag is constructed, such that no coordination of transmissions from the interrogating antenna is required.

Cette invention se rapporte à un procédé permettant la lecture d'étiquettes RFID (10) multiples situées dans le champ d'une antenne d'interrogation (26), ce procédé étant fondé sur des transmissions périodiques à partir des étiquettes avec de grands intervalles de non-transmission entre les transmissions. Ces intervalles de non-transmission sont fixes pour une étiquette donnée, mais ils sont aléatoires entre les étiquettes, de préférence en raison des tolérances de fabrication des composants électriques constituant l'étiquette, de sorte qu'aucune coordination des transmissions à partir de l'antenne d'interrogation n'est requise.
