ANTIDIARRHEAL COMPOSITION AND METHOD ABSTRACT The present invention provides a composition and method for treating diarrhea and related conditions. The antidiarrheal composition of the present invention comprises an admixture of one or more nutritional substances, a synthetic fiber, and electrolytes so the electrolyte requirements for rehydration are met in an orally palatable formulation. Optionally, a Lactobacillus sp. can be added to the antidiarrheal composition.
