The invention relates to an antifouling paint having a binder comprising a rosin material and an auxiliary film-forming resin, the paint including an ingredient having marine biocide properties, wherein the binder comprises a blend of the rosin material and an auxiliary film-forming resin in ratio 20:80 to 95:5 % by weight, the auxiliary film-forming resin comprising 20-100 % by weight of an acid-functional film forming polymer (A) whose acid groups are blocked by groups capable of hydrolyzing, dissociating or exchanging with seawater species to leave a polymer soluble in seawater, the blocking groups being selected from quaternary ammonium groups which form a quaternary ammonium salt of the polymer and quaternary phosphonium groups which form a quaternary phosphonium salt of the polymer, and 80-20 % of a non-hydrolyzing water-insoluble film-forming polymer (B).
Peinture anti-salissures qui contient un liant comprenant une matière de type résine et une résine auxiliaire filmogène, ainsi qu'un ingrédient ayant des propriétés biocides marines. Le liant contient un mélange de la matière de type résine et de la résine auxiliaire filmogène dans un rapport de 20/80 à 95/5 en poids. La résine auxiliaire filmogène contient (A) 20 à 100 % en poids d'un polymère filmogène à fonctionnalité acide dont les groupes acides sont bloqués par des groupes capables d'hydrolyse, d'association ou d'échange avec des espèces marines pour obtenir un polymère soluble dans l'eau de mer. Les groupes de blocage sont sélectionnés parmi des groupes ammonium quaternaires qui forment un sel d'ammonium quaternaire du polymère et des groupes phosphonium quaternaires qui forment un sel de phosphonium quaternaire du polymère. La résine auxiliaire filmogène contient également (B) 80 à 20 % en poids d'un polymère filmogène insoluble dans l'eau et exempt de capacité d'hydrolyse.
