Abstract of the Disclosure Antifouling paints containing polymers obtained by polymerizing at least one of unsaturated acid ester monomers shown by the general formula R1OOC-CX-CY-COOR2 ........ (A) wherein R1 and R2 are alkyl groups having 1-4 carbon atoms, and X and Y are hydrogen, alkyl groups having 1 or 2 carbon atoms or halogen, or copolymerizing the unsaturated acid ester monomers having the formula (A) with unsaturated monomers copolymerizable therewith, as a vehicle.
