The present invention relates to synthetic antigen-presenting matrices, their methods of making and their methods of use. One such matrix is cells that have been transfected to produce MHC antigen-presenting molecules and assisting molecules such as co-stimulatory molecules. The matrices can be used to activate CD8+ T-cells to produce cytokines and become cytotoxic.
L'invention concerne des matrices de présentation synthétique des antigènes ainsi que leurs procédés d'élaboration et d'utilisation. Par exemple, on peut constituer une matrice avec des cellules transfectées en vue de produire des molécules à complexe majeur d'histocompatibilité pour la présentation des antigènes et des molécules d'assistance telles que les molécules co-stimulantes. Il est possible d'utiliser les matrices pour activer les lymphocytes T CD8<+>, qui expriment la molécule CD8<+>, pour leur permettre de produire des cytokines et de devenir cytotoxiques.
