Abstract of the Disclosure There is described an antimicrobial agent which con- tains a phenoxyarsine as the antimicrobial substance and a solvent, this solvent being a compound of the formula Image I wherein R1, R2 and R3 signify hydrogen or a lower alkyl group, ? signifies 0 or 1, and ? signifies 1 or 2. This agent is suitable for the antimicrobial finishing of synthetic materials.
