A method of inhibiting the growth of oral microorganisms including the steps of administering to an oral environment an effective amount of a peptide having the amino acid sequence NH2-lys-lys-val-val-phe-lys-val-lys-phe-lys-CONH2.
La présente invention concerne un procédé qui permet d'empêcher la formation d'un biofilm dans un environnement, selon lequel on administre à l'environnement une quantité efficace d'un peptide possédant la séquence d'acides aminés NH2-lys-lys-val-val-phe-lys-val-lys-phe-lys-CONH¿2?. Le procédé de l'invention permet d'empêcher la formation de biofilms dans divers environnements, y compris à domicile, au bureau, dans un laboratoire, dans un environnement industriel, dans un environnement aquatique, dans un corps animal ou humain. L'invention se rapporte également à un procédé qui permet d'inhiber la croissance de micro-organismes oraux, en administrant à un environnement oral une quantité efficace d'un peptide possédant la séquence d'acides aminés NH¿2?-lys-lys-val-val-phe-lys-val-lys-phe-lys-CONH¿2?.
