An antimicrobial urine collection system comprising a urine collection bag (1) and tubing (4) each made from a polymer, wherein the polymer comprises therein from about 0.1 to 20 phr of an antimicrobial agent. The anti microbial agent is preferably a phosphoric acid metal salt, preferably one in which zinc is the metal. The agent can be compounded into the polymer material for forming the system components.

L'invention concerne un système de collecte d'urine antimicrobien comprenant un sac et un tube en polymère, ledit polymère comprenant environ 0,1 à 20 phr d'un agent antimicrobien. Cet agent antimicrobien est, de préférence, un sel métallique d'acide phosphorique et, de préférence, un sel dont le métal est du zinc.
