ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The disclosure describes a novel antimony- containing catalyst: methods for preparing it and its use in a variety of organic compound conversions, both of hydrocarbons and non-hydrocarbons. The catalyst comprises a crystalline aluminosilicate zeolite having a silica/alumina ratio of 12 to 3000, a constraint index of 1 to 12 and a crystal density, in the dry hydrogen form, of at least 1.6 and from 1 to 50 weight percent of antimony expressed as Sb2O3. It has a marked ability to convert appropriate feed stocks to products which contain an enhanced quantity of p-xylene.
