ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides an antinephrotic syndrome agent containing a spherical carbon as an active ingredient in an amount effective for treating nephrotic syndrome. The agent is orally administered to patients and has no side effects, apart from conventional steroid medicines. Further, the present invention provides a method of treating nephrotic syndrome including the step of administering an effective amount of sperical carbon to a patient.
