Antioxidant compositions of octylated diphenylamines, containing 65 to 98% by weight of dioctyldiphenylamine, up to 29 % by weight of monooctyldiphenylamine, up to 5 % by weight of octylbutyldiphenylamine, up to 1.5 % by weight of trioctyldiphenylamine and up to 1 % by weight of diphenylamine, are prepared by alkylation of diphenylamine by diisobutylene in the presence of an acidic catalyst. They can be used as efficient stabilizers of polymeric materials, lubricants and oils, either alone or as a component of anti-degradation systems and substances based on them.
L'invention concerne des compositions antioxydantes de diphénalamines octylées, contenant entre 65 et 98 % en poids de dioctyldiphénylamine, jusqu'à 29 % en poids de mono-octyldiphénylamine, jusqu'à 5 % en poids d'octylbutyldiphénylamine, jusqu'à 1,5 % en poids de trioctyldiphénylamine et jusqu'à 1 % en poids de diphénylamine. Lesdites compositions sont obtenues par alkylation de diphénylamine par di-isobutylène, en présence d'un catalyseur acide. Lesdites compositions peuvent s'utiliser comme stabilisants efficaces de matériaux polymères, de lubrifiants et d'huiles, soit seules, soit comme constituant de systèmes anti-dégradation et de substances les contenant.
