ABSTRACT A dry aerosol astringent antiperspirant composition which comprises an astringent powder sus- pended in a liquid which includes an essentially an- hydrous saturated lower alkylene glycol dialkanoate, e.g., propylene glycol dipelargonate, and a liquefied gas propellant. The composition provides a high per- spiration inhibiting efficiency without producing an oily feeling film when applied to the skin.
