j3137 ABSTRACT An antiperspirant composition which is suitable for topical application to human skin, comprising: (i) from 4 to 95% by weight of hydrophobically- treated clay ; and (ii) from 96 to 5% by weight of a carrier medium comprising an alkanol having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms; the composition containing not more than 0.2% by weight of aluminium.
