ABSTRACT The invention is directed to a creamy, heterogeneous anhydrous antiperspirant product and to a method for making it. The product of the invention comprises essentially a volatile silicone product as a carrier, a gelling agent and a physio- logically acceptable antiperspirant agent. Optional ingredients which can be included comprise surfactants, emollients, fillers, fragrances, coloring agents and the like. The method of the invention comprises mixing and heating the ingredients to a temperature above the melting point of the gelling agent, then cooling while mixing thoroughly to a temperature below the normal solidification point of the product.
