ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Pyrimido (1,2a) heterocyclic compounds of the general formula Image in which the various groups R may be selected from a range of possible structures for example alkyl groups. Processes for the preparation of these compounds, including their resolution into optically active enantio- mers, are also described. These compounds find use as antiphlogistics, and analgesics; they also inhibit blood platelet aggregation.
