ANTIPLAQUE ORAL COMPOSITION ABSTRACT The perfluoroalkyl surfactant (PAS) of the general formula CxF2x+1(CH2)nS(CH2)nCO2M wherein x is an integer of 3- 8, each n is an integer of 2-4 and may be the same or different and M is hydrogen, an alkali metal or ammonium, provides an oral composition, such as a dentifrice or a mouthwash with effect in preventing plaque formation. A preferred PAS is Zonyl FSA, C3-8F7-17(CH2)2S(CH2)2COOLi.
