Oligonucleotides are provided which are targeted to nucleic acids encoding human c-raf and capable of inhibiting raf expression. The oligonucleotides contain a methoxyethoxy (2'-O-CH2CH2OCH3) modification at the 2' position of at least one nucleotide. Methods of inhibiting the expression of human raf using oligonucleotides of the invention are also provided. The present invention further comprises methods of inhibiting hyperproliferation of cells and methods of treating abnormal proliferative conditions which employ oligonucleotides of the invention.
On décrit des oligonucléotides qui sont ciblés sur des acides nucléiques codant le gène c-raf humain et pouvant inhiber l'expression du gène raf. Ces oligonucléotides contiennent une modification méthoxyéthoxy (2'-O-CH¿2?CH¿2?OCH¿3?) en position 2' d'un nucléotide au moins. On décrit aussi des procédés permettant d'inhiber l'expression du gène raf humain avec de tels oligonucléotides, de même que des procédés permettant d'inhiber des hyperproliférations cellulaires ou de traiter des proliférations anormales et qui impliquent l'utilisation de ces oligonucléotides.
