ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE IMPROVED ANTISEPTIC COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING HEXAHYDRO-5-PYRIMIDINAMINE COMPOUNDS AND AN AMPHOTERIC SURFACTANT AND METHODS FOR PREPARING SAME The present invention pertains to topical antiseptic compositions comprising a therapeutically effective amount of a synergistic antiseptic composition comprising an antiseptic hexahydro-5-pyrimidinamine compound and an amphoteric surfactant in a topical vehicle or in a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The synergic antiseptic compositions may be utilized in a wide variety of aqueous-based topical antiseptic products and pharmaceutical products. This invention also relates to methods by which these topical antiseptic and pharmaceutical products may be prepared.
