To prevent people from slipping on ice and other slippery surfaces, devices have been designed to achieve this purpose. In this invention, the device which will be attached to a footwear consists of a sole with multiple conical spikes extending downward from the bottom surface and with strips of metal attached along with the spikes. The edges of the metal strips are bent downward and are provided with narrow ends for traction on slippery surfaces. The sole is also provided with clips on its sides for gripping the sole of a footwear.
