Abstract An antisun product which contains, besides cosmetic auxiliaries and sunscreen agents and/or sun blocks, an effective amount of deproteinated haemodia- lysate of mammalian blood or an active fraction thereof results in improving the condition of the skin and in reducing or avoiding the adverse effects of exposure to the sun. The composition is suitable for both prophylaxis and aftercare.
