The present invention relates to a novel antitumor agent containing a compound that inhibits binding between acetylated histone and a bromodomain-containing protein, preferably a thienotriazolodiazepine compound represented by the following formula (I) (see formula I) wherein each symbol is as defined in the description, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof or a hydrate or solvate as an active ingredient.
