Abstract This invention relates to an antitumor agent comprising an oral drug in which lemongrass oil is included in cyclodextrin as its effective component, and to an antitumor agent indicated for lung cancer comprising an oral drug in which citral is included in cyclodextrin as its effective component. Lemongrass oil is a volatile liquid extracted from a natural plant, lemongrass, and citral is a volatile liquid which is a principal constituent of said lemongrass oil and which may be extracted therefrom. By suppressing their volatileness by including them in cyclodextrin, an easy-to-take oral drug without odor or bitterness which demonstrates an excellent antitumor effect specifically on lung cancer can be obtained. - Abstract -
