Description

In an antitumor agent having a high antitumor effect, it is frequently observed that the activity is lowered with a decrease in the toxicity and, therefore, a satisfactory antitumor effect cannot be always established. Thus, it has been required to develop an antitumor agent which has a high antitumor effect with little side effect or toxicity as the antitumor agent. It is intended to provide an antitumor agent in the form of fine particles containing platinum chloride compounds or platinic acid chloride compounds together with hydroxyapatite. The platinum chloride compounds and the platinic acid chloride compounds include platinum tetrachloride, platinic acid tetrachloride, platinic acid hexachloride, disodium platinum tetrachloride, disodium platinum hexachloride, dipotassium platinum tetrachloride and dipotassium platinum hexachloride. The maximum particle diameter of hydroxyapatite is 1 µm or less.

La présente invention a pour objet un agent antitumoral présentant un effet antitumoral important dont les effets secondaires ou la toxicité sont négligeables. En effet, il est fréquemment observé que les agents antitumoraux présentant un effet antitumoral important sont d~autant moins actifs que leur toxicité est faible, et qu~il est donc parfois difficile d~obtenir un effet antitumoral satisfaisant. La présente invention a plus spécifiquement pour objet un agent antitumoral sous forme de fines particules contenant des dérivés de chlorure de platine ou d~acide chloro-platinique, mélangé à une hydroxyapatite. Les dérivés de chlorure de platine et d~acide chloro-platiniques comprennent, sans y être limités, du tétrachlorure de platine, de l~acide tétrachloroplatinique, de l~acide hexachloroplatinique, du tétrachlorure de platine disodium, de l~hexachlorure de platine disodium, du tétrachlorure de platine dipotassium, et de l~hexachlorure de platine dipotassium. Le diamètre maximal des particules d~hydroxyapatite est inférieur ou égal à 1 µm.
