This invention relates to a composition, comprising: (A) a boron-containing overbased material; (B) a phosphorus acid, ester or derivative thereof; and (C) a borated epoxide or borated fatty acid ester of glycerol. In one embodiment the inventive composition further comprises (D) a thiocarbamate. These compositions are useful in providing lubricants and functional fluids, particularly automatic transmission fluids, with enhanced anitwear properties. In one embodiment these compositions also provide such lubricants and functional fluids with enhanced extreme-pressure and/or friction-modifying.
L'invention porte sur un composé comprenant (A) un matériel surbasique contenant du bore, (B) un acide phosphorique, un ester ou un dérivé d'ester et (C) un époxy boré ou ester d'acide gras de glycérol boré. Une des versions de l'invention comprend en outre (D) un thiocarbamate. Ces composés sont utiles comme lubrifiants et fluides fonctionnels, notamment comme huiles à transmission automatique, aux propriétés antiusure améliorées. Sous une de leurs formes, ces composés donnent également des lubrifiants et des fluides fonctionnels aux propriétés améliorées dans des conditions de pression ou de friction extrêmes.
