Natural biological vesicles with membranes which have lost phospholipid symmetry, especially those presenting phosphatidyl serine on outer membrane surfaces, such as red cell ghosts, are administered to mammalian patients, in immune system modifying amounts, for treatment or prophylaxis of inflammatory cytokine-related disorders, including autoimmune disorders, neurodegenerative disorders and endothelial dysfunction related disorders.
L'invention concerne des vésicules naturelles et biologiques dotées de membranes présentant une symétrique phospholipidique perdue, notamment celles présentant une sérine phosphatidyl sur des surfaces membranaires externes, telles que des hématies dépigmentées. Ces vésicules sont administrées à des patients mammifères, dans des quantités modifiant le système immunitaire, aux fins de traitement ou de prophylaxie de troubles inflammatoires liés aux cytokines, notamment des troubles auto-immunitaires, des troubles neurodégénératifs et des troubles relatifs à une fonction endothéliale.
