The invention relates to a device for fixing a wheel-alignment gauge to a rim of a wheel of a motor vehicle. According to the invention, a base part has means for fixing the wheel-alignment gauge in a predefined reference direction in relation to the base part. Three supporting arms are arranged on the base body which extend substantially radially in a plane which is perpendicular to the reference direction. Spacing elements are positioned on the supporting arms such that they can be displaced longitudinally in relation to same. The ends of the spacing elements, which serve to ensure a three-point mounting on a wheel rim, lie in a plane which is perpendicular to the reference direction. The invention also provides for means for fixing the base part on the rim. At least one of the spacing elements (24, 54) can be adjusted cross-wise to its supporting arm. In this way it is possible to adjust the position of the spacing elements to different divisions of the wheel mounting nuts.
L'invention concerne un dispositif pour fixer un dispositif de mesure d'alignement des roues sur une jante d'une roue d'un véhicule à moteur. Selon l'invention, un corps de base comporte des moyens servant à fixer le dispositif de mesure d'alignement des roues dans une direction de référence prédéterminée, par rapport audit corps de base. Ce dernier comporte également trois bras de soutien s'étendant sensiblement dans le sens radial dans un plan perpendiculaire à la direction de référence. Des éléments d'écartement sont placés sur les bras de soutien de façon à pouvoir coulisser longitudinalement par rapport à ces derniers. Les extrémités des éléments d'écartement, servant à assurer un appui en trois points sur une jante, sont situées dans un plan perpendiculaire à la direction de référence. Il est en outre prévu des moyens pour fixer le corps de base sur la jante. Au moins un des éléments d'écartement (24, 54) peut être déplacé transversalement par rapport à son bras de soutien. Il est ainsi possible d'adapter la position des éléments d'écartement à différentes divisions des écrous de fixation de roue.
