Apparatus, and an associated method, for selectably delaying performance of synchronization operations in which database copies are placed in match with one another. A user of a mobile node at which a database copy is maintained selectably actuates an actuator to select delay of performance of the synchronization operations. Once selection is made to delay the performance of the synchronization operations, selection is further made by a delay selector of the delay period prior to which synchronization operations are carried out.
Appareil et méthode connexe permettant de retarder sélectivement les opérations de synchronisation au cours desquelles des copies d'une base de données sont mises en correspondance entre elles. L'utilisateur d'un noeud mobile auquel une copie de la base de données est conservée actionne sélectivement une commande pour sélectionner le retard d'exécution des opérations de synchronisation. Une fois que le retard d'exécution des opérations de synchronisation a été sélectionné, un sélecteur de retard effectue une autre sélection de la période de retard avant laquelle les opérations de synchronisation sont exécutées.
