An apparatus for aligning tubulars which apparatus comprises at least one guide (I 1; 115), a tong (2; 102) and a backup unit (3; 103) wherein said at least one guide (11; 115) is arranged on or between said tong (2; 102) and said backup unit (3; 103), characterised in that said at least one guide (11; 115) is, in use, movable towards and away from a box of a tubular with respect to said backup unit. An apparatus for aligning tubulars which apparatus comprises a tong (2), a backup unit (3), at least one torsion post (4, 5) arranged therebetween, the apparatus further comprising at least one guide (11), characterised in that said at least one guide (I1) is mounted on said at least one torsion post (4, 5). A method for aligning tubulars using the apparatus of the invention, comprising the step of moving said at least one guide towards and away from a box of a tubular with respect to said backup unit.
L'invention concerne un dispositif d'alignement d'éléments tubulaires comprenant au moins un guide (11, 115), une pince (2, 102) ainsi qu'une unité d'appui (3, 103), dans lequel au moins un guide (11, 115) est disposé au-dessus ou à l'intérieur de la pince (2, 102), l'unité d'appui étant caractérisée par le fait que ledit guide (11, 115) se rapproche, lors de l'utilisation, d'une douille d'élément tubulaire ou s'éloigne de celle-ci, par rapport à l'unité d'appui. L'invention concerne également un dispositif d'alignement d'éléments tubulaires comprenant une pince (2), une unité d'appui (3), au moins une colonne de torsion (4, 5) située entre les deux, ainsi qu'au moins un guide (11) monté sur au moins une des colonnes de torsion (4, 5). L'invention concerne en outre un procédé d'alignement d'éléments tubulaires utilisant le dispositif de l'invention, consistant à rapprocher ou à éloigner le ou les guides d'une douille d'élément tubulaire, par rapport à l'unité d'appui.
