A marker insertion apparatus includes a cartridge assembly, a separator assembly, a gripper assembly, an elevator assembly and a page spreader assembly. The cartridge assembly holds a roll of marker materials and advances it to the separator assembly. The separator assembly includes jaws and a peel bar for removing the endmost marker from the backing sheet. The gripper assembly includes rotatable arms which grip the separator marker and positions the marker for insertion into the book. The elevator raises and lowers the gripper assembly from the position for removing the separated marker to the position for inserting into the book. The page spreader assembly includes a V-arm with a slot formed therein for receiving the gripper arms and the separated marker.
La présente invention concerne un appareil d'insertion de marqueurs comprenant un bloc cartouche, un bloc séparateur, un bloc ramasseur, un bloc élévateur et un bloc écarteur de pages. Le bloc cartouche contient un rouleau porte marqueurs qu'il dirige vers le bloc séparateur. Ledit bloc séparateur comporte des mâchoires et une barre de décollement permettant de prélever un marqueur d'extrémité de la feuille de support. Le bloc ramasseur comporte des bras pivotants qui saisissent un marqueur d'extrémité du bloc séparateur et positionne ledit marqueur pour son insertion dans le livre. Le bloc élévateur fait alternativement monter et descendre le bloc ramasseur de sa position de manière à retirer le marqueur prélevé et à le mettre en position d'insertion dans le livre. Le bloc écarteur de pages comporte un bras en V pourvu d'une fente lui permettant de recevoir des bras du ramasseur le marqueur prélevé.
