An apparatus that facilitates the filling of a marine engine lower unit reservoir (20) with gear lube. A squeezable container (26) having a truncated spout (53) with a threaded base (54) is engaged to a fitting member (28) engaged to a first end of an elongate flexible tube that carries a clamp member (34) operable to selectively open and close the tube to fluid flow. The opposite end of the tube is another fitting (32) engaged; to either a drain (35) or vent opening (22) in a lower unit. The lower unit is filled by elevating and inverting the squeezable gear lube container when the clamp is open and the proper fitting is engaged with the drain opening. It also has utility in connection with draining and flushing the lubrication reservoir.
L'invention concerne un appareil qui facilite le remplissage du réservoir inférieur (20) d'un moteur marin avec du lubrifiant pour engrenages. Un contenant pressable (26) doté d'un bec tronqué (53) à base filetée (54) s'engage dans un raccord (28) en prise avec une première extrémité d'un tube souple allongé comportant une pince (34) servant à permettre ou à interdire l'écoulement du fluide dans le tube. L'extrémité opposée du tube est dotée d'un autre raccord (32) s'engageant dans un orifice d'évacuation (35) ou d'aération (22) dans un réservoir inférieur. On remplit celui-ci en relevant et en retournant le contenant pressable de lubrifiant pour engrenages lorsque la pince est ouverte et que le raccord approprié est engagé dans l'orifice d'évacuation.
