A dish antenna (100) with a cover (110) that inhibits the accumulation of water, liquid or frozen, on the front surface of an antenna. One or more vibration mechanisms (114) are engaged with the cover so as to vibrate the cover when water, either frozen or liquid, may be present on the outer surface (112) of the cover so as to inhibit the water from disrupting signals being transmitted to or from the dish antenna.
