An apparatus and method for constructing a data unit that includes a buffer status report (BSR) such that when BSR triggering is performed, the size(s) of the necessary subheader(s) are also to be considered together in addition to the BSR size. There is a checking unit that checks whether any padding region is available in a MAC PDU that was constructed, a comparing unit that compares the number of padding bits with the size of a buffer status report (BSR) plus its sub-header, and a processing unit that cooperates with the checking unit and the comparing unit to trigger a buffer status report (BSR) procedure if the number of padding bits is larger than the size of the BSR plus its sub-header, including the BSR and its sub-header in the MAC PDU, and setting an LCID in the sub-header to indicate a BSR is included, the BSR having been triggered due to padding. Using such apparatus allows the sub-header(s) to be inserted (included) into the MAC PDU (or transport block (TB) or other data unit).
L'invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé pour la construction d'une unité de données à rapport d'état de tampon (BSR) faisant que, lorsque le déclenchement de rapport BSR s'effectue, la ou les tailles d'en-tête(s) secondaire(s) puissent également être prises en considération ensemble, outre la taille de rapport BSR. Il existe une unité de vérification qui permet de vérifier si une zone de remplissage quelconque est disponible dans une unité MAC PDU ayant été assemblée, une unité de comparaison entre le nombre de bits de remplissage et la taille de rapport BSR plus l'en-tête secondaire correspondant, et lorsque ce nombre excède la taille de rapport BSR plus l'en-tête secondaire correspondant, et une unité de traitement coopérant avec les deux unités précédentes pour le déclenchement de la procédure de rapport BSR, avec inclusion de BSR et de l'en-tête secondaire correspondant dans l'unité MAC PDU, et établissement d'un identificateur LCID dans l'en-tête secondaire pour indiquer qu'un rapport BSR est inclus; ce rapport BSR ayant été déclenché suite au remplissage. Le fait d'utiliser ce dispositif permet l'insertion ( l'inclusion) d'en-tête(s) secondaire(s) dans l'unité MAC PDU (ou le bloc de transport (TB) ou autre unité de données).
