A controller (10) for controlling operating parameters associated with fluid flow, speed or pressure for a centrifugal pump (40) for pumping fluid, wherein at least one sensor (1-6) is coupled to the pump (40) for generating a signal indicative of a sensed operating condition. The controller (10) comprises a storage device for storing data indicative of at least one operating condition and a processor in communication with the sensor and operative to perform an algorithm utilizing the at least one sensor signal and the stored data indicative of the at least one operating condition to generate a control signal, wherein the control signal is indicative of a correction factor to be applied to the pump.
L'invention concerne un contrôleur (10) destiné à réguler les paramètres de fonctionnement associés au débit du fluide, au régime ou à la pression pour une pompe centrifuge (40) destinée à pomper un fluide, dans lequel au moins un détecteur (1-6) est couplé à la pompe (40) afin de produire un signal indicatif d'un état de fonctionnement détecté. Le contrôleur (10) comprend un dispositif de mémorisation destiné à mémoriser des données indiquant au moins un état de fonctionnement ainsi qu'un processeur en communication avec le détecteur et exécutant un algorithme à l'aide du signal dudit détecteur au moins, et les données mémorisées indiquant ledit état de fonctionnement au moins, afin de produire un signal de régulation, le signal de régulation indiquant un facteur de correction à appliquer à la pompe.
